The story
Boobery started at 3am, one-handed. Its maker’s wife was feeding their baby and every tracker they tried wanted a subscription, an account, or a working internet connection - usually all three. So he built the app they wanted to exist: one thumb, eyes on baby, everything on the phone, bought once. The apps parents rely on most were being rented to them; Boobery is deliberately the opposite trade.
Boilerplate, free to lift: Boobery is a private, offline breastfeeding tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. Feeds, bottles, pumps, nappies and naps are logged with one thumb and stay entirely on the phone - no account, no cloud, no ads, no subscription. It costs $24.99 once, and Family Sharing covers the household.

Good questions
- Why parents are wary of baby-tracker clouds - and what “the link is the only copy” sharing means in practice.
- Why Boobery deliberately doesn’t predict naps, when prediction is the feature every subscription rival sells.
- Pay-once against the subscription tide: what $24.99, once, changes about how a baby app gets built.
