This Privacy Policy explains how Weekend Ventures Ltd (“Weekend Ventures”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Boobery application (“Boobery” or the “App”).

Weekend Ventures Ltd is a company incorporated in England and Wales.

Boobery is a breastfeeding and baby-care tracking application designed to help parents and carers record information such as feeding, pumping, nappies, bottles and sleep.

We respect your privacy and have designed Boobery so that the information you enter into the App remains locally on your device and under your control. We do not collect or receive this information.

You may choose to share your Boobery log directly with an individual using the partner sharing function. The partner sharing function is provided through Apple iCloud. You control whether to use this function and may remove or end your partner’s access at any time through the App.

This Privacy Policy should be read alongside our Boobery Terms & Conditions.

Weekend Ventures does not collect or receive information entered into Boobery.

Boobery does not require you to create an account in order to use its tracking functionality.

Your feeding, pumping, nappy, bottle, sleep and other tracking information is not collected or received by Weekend Ventures.

If you choose to use the partner sharing function, your Boobery log is made available directly to the individual partner through Apple iCloud. Weekend Ventures does not collect or use that information for its own purposes.

Some of the information that you choose to record in Boobery may relate to breastfeeding, feeding, pumping or your baby’s care.

We recognise that information relating to health or bodily functions can be particularly personal.

Boobery is designed to keep this information locally on your device, except to the extent you choose to share it using the partner-sharing feature through Apple iCloud. It is not transmitted to or collected by Weekend Ventures.

If you choose to use the partner sharing function, your Boobery log may be made available to the individual partner you choose through Apple iCloud. You may remove or end your partner’s access at any time using the controls available in the App.

You should treat your device, the App and any iCloud sharing arrangement as private and take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised people from accessing information stored on your device or information you choose to share.

Boobery does not ask you to provide medical records, diagnoses or other clinical information.

Weekend Ventures does not collect or use the information you enter into Boobery for advertising, marketing, profiling, analytics or any other purpose.

The information you enter is stored locally on your device and remains under your control, except to the extent you choose to share it using the partner-sharing feature through Apple iCloud.

If you choose to use the partner sharing function, your Boobery log is made available directly to the individual partner through Apple iCloud. You control whether to use this function and may remove or end access at any time through the App.

We may use information that is available to us through Apple or other service providers where necessary to:

• operate and administer the App;
• process or understand App Store transactions;
• provide customer support;
• investigate technical problems;
• maintain and improve Boobery;
• protect the security of our services;
• comply with legal obligations; and
• protect our legal rights and interests.

We do not use the tracking information stored on your device or shared through Apple iCloud for these purposes.

Where we receive information that is personal data, we will handle it in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Boobery does not use third-party analytics tools to collect tracking information or build profiles about your use of the App. Apple may, however, provide us with limited technical, diagnostic or crash-report information through its developer services to help us identify and resolve technical problems.

Your logged information, including feeding sessions, pumping sessions, nappies, bottles, sleep or nap records, amounts of expressed milk, dates, times and other information you enter into Boobery, is not shared with Weekend Ventures through Apple or otherwise.

For information about what Apple may collect, process or share with app developers in connection with crash reports, diagnostics, analytics and use of the App Store, please review Apple’s applicable privacy policies and documentation.

If our use of analytics, crash reporting or other third-party technologies changes in the future, we will review and update this Privacy Policy as appropriate and, where required, obtain any necessary permissions or consents.

Boobery is intended for adults who are parents, carers or otherwise responsible for caring for a baby or child. It is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under the age of 18.

Boobery does not require users to create an account. Although an adult user may choose to record information about a baby or child in the App, Weekend Ventures does not receive or collect that tracking information.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to Weekend Ventures, please contact us at hello@boobery.app so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We do not collect or share the individual tracking information you enter into Boobery with advertisers, marketing companies or data brokers.

Your tracking information remains locally on your device unless you choose to use the partner sharing function.

The partner sharing function is provided through Apple iCloud. If you choose to use this function, your Boobery log may be shared with the individual partner you choose through Apple’s iCloud services.

You control whether to use the partner sharing function and are responsible for sending or providing access to the sharing invitation to the intended individual. You should only share your information with someone you trust.

Weekend Ventures does not receive, collect or use the tracking information shared through Apple iCloud for its own purposes.

You may remove or end your partner’s access at any time using the controls available in Boobery. However, Weekend Ventures cannot control how a partner uses, stores, copies, records or otherwise handles information they have previously viewed or received.

Apple may process information in connection with the iCloud sharing function in accordance with Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. For information about how Apple processes information through iCloud, please refer to Apple’s applicable privacy documentation.

We may share limited information with third parties where reasonably necessary to operate our business, including service providers supporting our website, customer support, technical infrastructure or legal and accounting requirements. This does not include tracking information stored locally on your device or information made available through Partner Sharing, which Weekend Ventures does not receive.

We may also disclose information where required to do so by law, regulation, court order or other lawful process.

Boobery may be distributed or supported using third-party services, including Apple, the Apple App Store and Apple iCloud.

The partner sharing function is provided through Apple iCloud. Apple may process information necessary to provide, operate and secure the iCloud sharing function in accordance with Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.

Weekend Ventures does not collect or use the tracking information you choose to share through Apple iCloud for its own purposes.

Third-party services may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

Weekend Ventures is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that it does not control.

You should review the privacy policies of relevant third-party providers, including Apple, for further information about how they process personal data.

We take reasonable steps to protect information that we process.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Because Boobery’s tracking information is stored locally on your device, except to the extent you choose to share it using the partner-sharing feature through Apple iCloud, the security of that information depends on the security of your device.

Information shared through the partner sharing function may be accessible to the individual partner you select through Apple iCloud. You should only use the function with someone you trust and should provide the sharing invitation or access only to the intended individual.

You may remove or end access at any time using the controls available in the App. Removing access cannot undo anything the partner may have viewed, copied, downloaded, recorded or otherwise retained before access was removed.

The security of information processed through Apple iCloud is also subject to Apple’s security measures and practices.

We recommend using appropriate device security measures available on your device.

Weekend Ventures does not retain the tracking information that you enter into Boobery on its own servers.

Information stored locally, except to the extent you choose to share it using the partner-sharing feature through Apple iCloud, within the App remains on your device until it is deleted or otherwise removed by you or by the operation of your device.

If you use the partner sharing function, selected information may remain accessible to the individual partner through Apple iCloud for as long as the sharing arrangement remains active. You may remove or end access at any time using the controls available in the App.

Removing or ending access prevents further access through the sharing function but cannot remove information that the partner may previously have viewed, copied, downloaded, recorded or otherwise retained.

The retention and handling of information processed by Apple through iCloud is subject to Apple’s own policies and terms.

Where Weekend Ventures does receive personal information for another legitimate business purpose, we will retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose, including where necessary to comply with legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.

Depending on your circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, including:

• the right to request access to personal information we hold about you;
• the right to request correction of inaccurate information;
• the right to request deletion of personal information;
• the right to restrict certain processing;
• the right to object to certain processing;
• the right to data portability in certain circumstances; and
• the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Because Boobery’s tracking information is stored locally, except to the extent you choose to share it using the partner-sharing feature through Apple iCloud, on your device and is not collected or held by Weekend Ventures, we may not be able to provide a copy of information that we do not hold.

If you use the partner sharing function, you can manage or remove your partner’s access using the controls available in the App. Weekend Ventures cannot remove information that a partner may have previously viewed, copied, downloaded, recorded or otherwise retained.

Information processed by Apple through iCloud is subject to Apple’s own privacy practices and terms. Requests relating to information that Apple holds should be directed to Apple where appropriate.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), which is the UK’s supervisory authority for data protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example where:

• Boobery’s features change;
• we introduce new services or technologies;
• our data processing practices change;
• legal or regulatory requirements change; or
• we need to clarify our privacy practices.

When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to make users aware of the updated policy.

The “Last updated” date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was most recently revised.

Boobery is a tracking tool and is not a medical device, medical service or substitute for professional medical advice.

The information, statistics, totals and other features provided by Boobery are intended to help you record and understand your own tracking information.

They should not be used as a diagnosis or as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Breastfeeding, feeding, pumping, sleep and infant care can be different for every parent and baby. If you have concerns about your baby’s feeding, weight, hydration, health or development, or about your own physical or mental wellbeing, you should seek appropriate professional advice.

In particular, if using a tracking application causes you increased anxiety, distress, obsessive checking or other concerns about your wellbeing, you should consider taking a break from tracking and seek appropriate support.

If you experience an urgent medical or mental health concern, seek appropriate emergency or professional assistance.

Boobery does not monitor your wellbeing and cannot identify when you or your baby may require medical or psychological support.

Weekend Ventures does not sell your personal information.

We do not collect or use the information you enter into Boobery to build advertising profiles or sell information about you or your baby to third parties.

Our intention is to provide a useful tracking tool while keeping the information you record as private as reasonably possible.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to you under applicable law.
